1. Make a yummy fruit salad
The great thing about a fruit salad is it's all down to you - throw in bananas, kiwis, mango, melon - whatever you like! So grab your favourite fruits, chop them up, and stick them in a container and keep in the fridge for instant natural goodness! Great for a quick breakfast or guilt-free dessert.
2. Get in that Vitamin C & D
Part of the reason we feel down in the Winter months is the amount of colds, coughs and flu's going round. It's just no fun being ill! To keep those colds at bay, and to keep your body in tip-top shape, make sure you get loads of Vitamin C and D, both of which are found in citrus fruits such as lemons, oranges, and grapefruits. You can even include them in the fruit salad to keep up your daily intake!
3. Trying a new fruit a day
There are so many fruits around and although you have your faves, we bet there are loads you haven't got round to trying. Why not try out a new fruit once a day, once a week, or even once a month - you may end up finding your new favourite, and expanding your palette is always a good thing! 4. Creating a fruit smoothie
If you're feeling down and want to make yourself something healthy, yet indulgent, why not make a fruit smoothie. With banana as the base, you can create a variety of different flavours just by adding different fruits! We love banana, apple and kiwi smoothie. Why not add an avocado for even more goodness!
5. Using fruit as skincare
If you have fruit laying around that you're not quite sure what to do with, why not make use of it as skin care? Fruits have amazing properties when used topically, so why not mash that banana and use it as a face mask? Add a dash of honey, and you've got a mask that helps clear the complexion, and reduce any marks. Result!
