1. Find a free comedy show
We think there's nothing better than a comedy show, except a FREE comedy show! Why not take your date for a night full of laughter. You may have to buy some drinks, but we're sure you'll agree that still makes for a cheap night! Check out some free shows in London here.
2. Makes a romantic meal at home
If you don't want to brave the crowds this Valentine's Day, why not cook a meal together at home? Whether back to basics, or haute cuisine, the act of cooking together will create lasting memories, and who doesn't love a full belly!
3.Experiment with your own cocktails
If you do decide to stay home, why not have a go at making your own cocktails? It's a lot of fun, and you're sure to come up with your next favourite drink! Check out some fun, romantic cocktail recipes here, or go crazy and invent your own with what you have in your cupboard!
4. Get some fun exercise!
If you're a couple of who likes to be active, why not be active together? Take a nice romantic stroll, or find some nice woodland to explore with a bike ride, and get those endorphins pumping! Or, why not take an exercise class together? Fun and healthy!
5. Plan a scavenger hunt
For those of us who have a real romantic streak, why not create a scavenger hunt for your partner? What they find is up to you - cute handwritten notes, poems, sentimental items which trigger memories, anything works!
6. Do that thing for your partner that they've been putting off
If you know your partner has a task or chore that they're putting off for some reason - lack of time, or they just don't want to do it! - why not surprise them by completing it, and getting it out of their hair? Whether it's an important form, or washing the dishes, take the load off them for a change, we're sure they'll love you for it!
