How to Make the Perfect Cup of Tea

Research, commissioned by Cravendale Milk, found that in Britain we drink a staggering 165 million cups of tea per day, or 60.2 billion a year.
If you're putting the milk and teabag in first, then the water (cringe) let us show you how to make the perfect cuppa!

1. Add 200ml of freshly boiled water to your tea bag, in a mug/cup.
2. Allow the tea bag to brew for 2 minutes. Someone once told us to dunk it 20 times exactly but this depends on your commitment to the cause...
3. Remove the tea bag.
4. Add 10ml of milk.
5. Wait 6 minutes before consumption to reach its optimum temperature of 60 degrees centigrade.
Leave it until after 17 minutes and 30 seconds (exactly!) and the tea will be past its best.

Add Borders Luxury Biscuits for extra oomph ;)
