Fruit Hybrid

Here's something that will cut your cocktail making time in half....well maybe not in half but it will certainly speed things ups.

This month the Australian Department for Agriculture shared with the world a little project they's been working on. The green fingered Aussies have developed a new breed of pineapple which tastes suspiciously like a coconut.

The new fruit - called the AusFestival Pineapple - is sweet, juicy and low in acid and has delicate coconut flavour. The hybrid came about by mistake as the team were trying to develop a low acid version of the fruit. They are however confident that this fruit will be adored by fruit lover and cocktail fans alike.
