Fruity Office BBQ

The sun has arrived and in true British fashion there is no way of telling how long it will stay for. That means you have to make the most of every single minute, even if that means squeezing in a lunchtime BBQ.......

Grab a disposable BBQ, empty out the office fruit bowl, find some out door space and get cooking

Spray some non stick oil onto the grill, the place the fingers on the grill. Grill for around 3 minutes on each side. Enjoy them on their own or with ice-cream

Barbequed Bananas
Peel the bananas, split them in half  length ways then place on the BBQ. If you want an extra sugar hit sprinkle them with brown sugar before turning over. Grill on each side for around 3 minutes or until golden. Serve this hot sticky treat with an extra large scoop of vanilla ice-cream.

Pear and Almond Parcels
Take some cored, sliced pears and a handful of almonds and place them on a sheet of foil. Baste with a mixture of butter and brown sugar. Wrap the foil into a parcel, make sure the edges are sealed then place on top of the BBQ for around 10 minutes

Nectarines
Cut the nectarines in halve and remove the stone. Brush the flesh side with a little oil, then place face down on the BBQ for around 5 minutes or until nicely browned. Serve this hot treat with some cool fresh raspberries.

Enjoy the sunshine!
