Healthy Banana Bread

We've all been there - a bowl full of black bananas, which you hate to throw away! Not to worry, we're here with a healthy sweet treat which will use them all up, which means no waste!

Prep: 20 minutes
Cook: 1 hour, 15 minutes
Level: Easy
Makes: 10 slices

You will need:
low-fat spread
140g wholemeal flour
100g self-raising flour
1teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1 teaspook baking powder
300g mashed banana from overripe bananas
4 tablespoon agave syrup
3 large eggs, beaten
150ml low-fat natural yoghurt
25g chopped pecan or walnuts

How to make it:
1. Heat the oven to 160c/140c/gas 3. Grease and line a 2lb loaf tin with baking parchment (allow it to come 2cm above top of tin). Mix the flours, bicarb, baking powder and a pinch of salt in a large bowl.
2. Mix the bananas, syrup, eggs and yoghurt. Quickly stir into dry ingredients, then gently scrape into the tin and scatter with nuts. Bake for 1 hour 10 mins to 1 hour 15 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean.
3. Cool in tin on a wire rack. Eat warm or at warm temperature.
